Cidery Profile: Hauser Estate Winery

We are so excited to be returning to Hauser Estate Winery for The Hardest Cider Run on August 20, 2016.

The winery was established as an alternative agri-tourism venture in Gettysburg, PA. Hauser Estate Winery’s production facility is beneath the tasting room. It’s located just 8 miles west of Historic Gettysburg, PA.

Here are some things to check out if you’re coming to the event in August:

-Tasting Room. The tasting room is a 360 degree glass enclosed room, which overlooks miles of farmland, orchards, and forests that extend toward the national Civil War Battlefield. Discover the perfect wine for your palette with a wide variety of Red, White, Sweet, and Reserve Wines.

-Jack’s Hard Cider. Jack’s Hard Cider is produced and canned by Hauser Estate Winery, who has been growing apples for over 50 years. They only use farm fresh apples that are native to their home, Adams County Pennsylvania. They grow, press, and ferment the apples right from their facility.

By using the different varieties of apples, Jack’s Hard Cider was able to come up with unique varieties of cider.

Flagship (Available year round):

-Original. Described as dry, crisp, and refreshing, like biting into the perfect apple.

-Helen’s Blend. Fruit forward with a nice balance and mix to create a smooth finish.

-Dry Hopped. Dry base with citrus and herbal aromas and flavors.

-Peach. Light and fresh with peach aromas and fruit flavors.

-Pear. Blended with local pears to create a smooth pear finish.


-Conewago Orchard. Made with the finest cider apples at Conewago Orchard.

-Fireside Cider. It’s like Christmas in a can.
